JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a Product Safety Manager who wants to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of product safety, quality, and sustainability. You will be based at the Skoghall mill and belong to the Process and Analysis section, reporting directly to the section manager.

As a Product Safety Manager, you have a central and strategically important role within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet all relevant product safety requirements and that necessary certificates are developed in accordance with the needs of internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate broadly within the organization with IR&D, sales, production, control and quality functions, and external parties as needed. Your main responsibilities include:

• Being the process leader and management representative for hygiene and food safety according to FSSC 22000, which includes the implementation of new requirements and standards.

• Leading activities and projects within the product safety area.

• Developing accurate product safety certificates on behalf of internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensuring that necessary analyses and investigations are conducted to ensure our products meet current product safety requirements.

• Actively participating in the chemical group's work and having a crucial role in the approval of new chemicals.

• Having direct contact with customers regarding product safety issues. 

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic background in chemistry/chemical engineering/food safety or a similar field, and who has experience working with product safety, certifications, and applicable regulations. You enjoy taking responsibility, leading projects, and driving development forward while working in a structured and analytical manner. Furthermore, we believe that you have an easy time communicating and building relationships, both internally and externally. If you also have knowledge of FSSC 22000 or another similar standard and experience with chemical legislation, food, or process industries, it is an advantage. Additionally, we would like you to have good knowledge of Swedish and English.
